Tonight we went as a family to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus at the AA Center. The babies were very excited when we got there and there was loud music, clowns, animals, and lots of cotton candy. Jesse and Jocelyn loved looking at all of the displays which housed the $30 souvenir flashlights...they didn't get one, but I did give in and got them some cotton candy. They did really great at sitting on our laps and watching for about the first 1 1/2 hours...then they were ready to get up and walk around. We left early which worked out well because we were able to dodge all of the traffic. Next time the circus rolls into town we will be there. It was a great time had by all.
Grandma, Jesse, Grandpa, Jocelyn, Me
Jesse thinking that he will be able to convince me to buy him a pricey flashlight...sorry kiddo, luckily Grandma and Grandpa weren't around.
Jocelyn helping herself to her toy of choice, a stunt man on a motorcycle! Way to go baby girl, way to be a free spirit.
My dad and I were discussing how this man must have a great life insurance policy. It is pretty amazing all of the things he was able to do with the tigers. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to get in there with them!
Jesse wearing the circus hat...luckily it came free with the $12 cotton candy!
Jocelyn successfully won the game of chase. Jesse did have the disadvantage of the hat covering his whole head so he couldn't see where he was going. Good times.

Over the top cute (the Big Top that is!) Love the excited expressions and big smiles from everyone.
Im glad you all had such a fun time! I love those hats - certainly worth $12! Save them for dress-up.
How fun! Next time we'll go with you since I've never been either!
