Well let's just say that last night was a little eventful here at the Bennion's house. My sisters little girl....I'm not going to mention any names, woke up at about 2am and started screaming...and screaming...and it didn't stop till about an hour later. It was awesome. So we are all a bit sleepy today...oh well, such is the life with a litter (well 6) little children all sleeping in one house all age 3 and under. This morning we woke up and made waffles for breakfast. We put them all at the picnic table and they ate a lot of syrup and a little waffle...Michelle has a great park right next to her house. We walked over there while some of the food was cooking and enjoyed the sunshine...yes, I let Jesse go to the park in his PJ's...
Mommy and Jesse man. Jocelyn was at home sleeping...catching up on some sleep she missed out on from the night prior...Dinner was amazing and we all ate way too much. So we got out Michelle's bike and trailer and took a few spins around the block. The twins thought it was pretty great...we have a trailer at home, but I need to get a bike still...now that I know they like it maybe it will happen sooner than later.
Jesse in his turkey headband...
Madison and Jocelyn taking another turn in the chariot...
Zach giving Jesse a lift on the back of Kelyn's tricycle...can you tell they are cousins???Grandpa was pushing Jocelyn up and down the street...
Our attempt at a group shot on Thanksgiving...Yummy Blue Bell makes pie taste even better...
Our six little turkeys enjoying some dessert...
mmm Jocelyn enjoying some Blue Bell...
We have had an excellent Turkey day and we are looking forward to all the kiddies going to sleep early tonight so we can catch a nap before we go hit the San Marcos outlets at midnight.
We have so much to be thankful for and we hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to spend time with family or talking to them.

Little Turkey...
I finally got them to put on the turkey outfits...but this is the only picture I snapped of Jocelyn before she screamed until I took it off...I even tried to bribe her with a new princess movie...no such luck...
Jesse on the other hand was easily bribed with gumballs and was happy to throw leaves in the air while playing around in his turkey costume...I am glad that I got a few pictures of him happy and playful while in it...a view from the back...
And a view from the front...Jesse picking up the leaves to throw them again...

First "Real" Haircut
So this week I took Jesse to get his first real haircut. During the summer my mom did a little haircut on him to trim some of his "wings" and wispy hairs. His hair had grown out pretty long in some places so I decided it was time to even it up a bit...here is his picture as we are headed out the door...
Needless to say, Jesse was terrified of the lady cutting his hair...maybe it was the fingernails...not sure but he was so scared the entire time and kept saying, "Mommy, Jesse scared. Hold me." It was pretty cute, and sad at the same time...
Still trimming away...
That night Jesse and Jocelyn were pretty excited because grandma was cleaning the fish tank. They really wanted to help out and Jesse was pretty determined to catch a little fish in the net...
Jocelyn "helping" grandma...

A Swinging Good Time
Today the twins had a great time playing out on the swings. I need to be better out getting out the video camera and recording times like these. They were laughing so hard and having a great time. I love that Jesse and Jocelyn are the best of friends and really care about each other...I hope this never changes. My Jesse boy...
Jocelyn didn't want to look at the camera because she was busy looking at Jesse and laughing...
Both of them giggling...we are so lucky to have a backyard where we can play...Later on today Jesse was "playing" on the computer...

These Boots were Made for Walkin
Jocelyn is usually really good about going to sleep at night. She will lay on her princess pillow, rub her feet together back and forth on her velour sheets and then ask for "back"...which means she wants her back scratched. After you have scratched for about 2-3 minutes she will then say "tummy". She will roll over and lift her shirt to have you rub her tummy...this is a nightly ordeal and look how relaxed she is afterwards...ready for sweet slumber...Our dear friend Wanda who we call the twins "Granny Nanny" moved this week to live with her son in Kansas. We are so sad to see her go and are going to miss her. We promised to take a trip to Kansas to come see her soon...I've never been to Kansas so it should be an adventure. Anyhow, Wanda is a retired nurse and since the twins came home from the hospital when they were born she has come over 1-2 times a week for a couple hours each time. She feed and rock babies, wash and fold laundry, fix and sterilize bottles, and love and love the babies. The twins really love Wanda as well. They get excited when they see her pull up to the house and are always sad she she goes home. So, needless to say, it will be an adjustment to make...I haven't folded the twins laundry in over two years...spoiled, I know. Here is her reading a book to Jesse the night before she left town...as a side note, the ONLY books that Jesse will let you read to him are train books or car books...pretty picky, but at least he is kind of interested in books now...
Jocelyn's turn for some snuggle time with Wanda...reading her favorite Princess books from cousin Fallon...
Ahh so the title of this post...in deed I caught Jesse the other day tromping around in my shoes...it was so funny because they come up past his knees so I didn't know how he was going to navigate in them, but he managed to make it work. Here he is in mommy's shoes playing with some trains...
And here he is just taking a little stroll...pretty sure this might be a size or two too big for him...but he did concoct a pretty cute outfit with a nightshirt and a diaper...this kid has fashion sense for sure...
As mentioned earlier, the twins have enjoyed helping me cook. We make muffins about once a week...and turns out the twins are just like me. I love to eat the batter way more than I like to eat the muffins...I know some of you are thinking sick...but I LOVE it...and now the twins do too...Jesse enjoying some batter...
I wanted to add these pictures at the bottom of when we went to a going away party for Wanda Israel. Jesse loved sitting next to her as she would greet other guests, and he loved eating all the cookies...such a happy genuine smile here...
Here is a group shoot of my family with Wanda...I think maybe Jocelyn didn't want to celebrate that Wanda was leaving...you will be missed Wanda!

A Little Catch Up
So I have gotten a bit behind in the blogging lately so since I have some time this morning (the twins are both entranced by Baby Einstein's Baby Santa) I'll do some quick catch-ups. Jocelyn has been loving helping in the kitchen lately. She knows that if she wants to help she has to go get her hat and her apron. Her apron because I don't want her clothing to get dirty, and a hat, well because it is kinda cute. Here we are making some Spanish rice for our fajitas. She and Jesse both still love to eat rice and beans. They mix it together and add some cheese, by far their favorite meal...and almost the only thing they will consistently eat...such picky eaters. So here is chef Jocelyn...
Later on that night she didn't want to go to bed and Jesse had already fallen asleep...so I caved and let her come out and sleep with grandpa...they seem to have this calming effect on one another...it was kind of fun to see this because it isn't too often that the twins fall asleep in our arms anymore...
Wow, this post is turning out to be all about Jocelyn...don't worry I love them equally...Jesse is usually just too busy playing to trains to let me snap some pictures of him. Here is another attempt with her hair. We did little piggies but didn't pull the hair all the way through...I think it is kinda cute...but she claims that piggies hurt her head...so I haven't done them the past few days...
Then I caught Jesse giving me one of his looks...he has many "looks"...I think this one might be the "mommy, give it to me now or else" hmm maybe I am completely off...what do you think this look means???

A Fun Filled Sunday
It would seem that we are always on the go and super busy...I pulled out the camera a few times today for different things and when I uploaded pictures today I ended up with 112 photos from today...I guess tomorrow I will let the battery charge and give my children a break from the constant flash in their eyes...but then again, something cute might happen that I just need to document...we'll see, I'll try to give them a break...unless we find a great pile of fall leaves or end up going to the children's museum...Here is Jocelyn girl in her new princess gown that she LOVES! She hardly will take it off...but I told her that if she wanted cinnamon rolls this morning she had to take it off so it wouldn't get dirty...thanks Carla for making her adorable gown to match her pillow as well as her princess purse...she takes it everywhere...
This morning we made some cinnamon rolls for breakfast and it was a hit. Imagine that, my children loving sweets...hmmm wonder where they get that from??? They loved licking off all of the frosting and then asking for more. Eventually they did eat 2 cinnamon rolls each...hooray a successful breakfast. Jocelyn enjoying her yummy breakfast...
Jesse was so funny, he would lick any extra icing off of his plate...clearly some of it wound up on his cute little face...
So today was the first time that I ever tried pigtails on Jocelyn and it was so cute. Granted I need to practice, and probably use some hairspray next time, I think they turned out pretty cute...
She wouldn't hold still for me to get a photo of them so this will have to do...and by the way, she picked out her own outfit for church and insisted on wearing this get-up...grandpa told her she looked like she belonged in the circus...she didn't seem to mind...
Here is a cinnamon roll frosting face free boy. He loves to take long showers with grandpa on Sunday mornings. That is the only morning that he and grandpa are both awake at the same time...I think tomorrow we will go get him a hair cut...so I guess I will be snapping a few photos...
So Carla is simply amazing...I can give her a little idea of something to sew and without a pattern or much direction she goes to the fabric store, pulls out her sewing machine and bam...in the mail 2 days later are amazing things. This time she made a princess pillow and a princess gown for Jocelyn and a cars pillow and pajamas for Jesse man...more to come on Jesse at the end of the post...anyhow, here is sweet Jocelyn sleeping happily on her princess pillow. Bed time has not been a fight with her since she has her "big princess pillow"...Just so you could see her whole silly outfit...
Jesse sleeping peacefully after church on his cars pillow...can you tell that it is like a roadway...very cool huh? we sure think so...
After they woke up from naps we went and took our normal Sunday stroll around the neighborhood. One neighbor had a few leaves in his front yard that Jocelyn enjoyed trampling in...well that is until the little leaf fragments got into her crocs...
Here are the twinkies headed down to the bridge with their little red wagons...
Jocelyn running across the bridge to feed the fish leaves...didn't you know that's what they like to eat???
Jesse scraping the bottom of his bucket for a few more leaves to feed the awaiting fish below...
My happy little girl...with her hair in pigtails she looks so different to me...
"Wow mommy, look, big leaf!"
Jesse showing me his stick...in case you can't tell what he is holding...
Finding more fish food...
So then it started to sprinkle, so we grabbed our wagons, I threw the camera under my shirt and we ran home. Once we got in the door it started pouring rain. Of course then the kiddies wanted to put on their rain gear. We got out their boots, raincoats, and umbrellas. Jesse and Jocelyn were thrilled when grandpa agreed to take them on a walk...it was so cute to see the three of them strolling down the street with their umbrellas.
When the rain settled down I braved taking my camera out in it to get some more photos...Jocelyn walking with her Princess umbrella...if you look closely you can see that she is splashing in the little puddle...
He learned how to put his umbrella up...and was pretty proud of himself...
Skipping along happily without a care in the world...
"mommy take picture with cars umbell, cheese mommy" So then of course I obliged....
Both of the twins splashing in water with their rain boots on...
Now you might be wondering, why in the world is Ang blogging at 4:30 am? Well because the twins are awake of course, when you are sleeping in Cars pajamas on a Cars pillow, why shouldn't you be watching Cars at 4 am? Yes, that's right, the little man woke up and wanted to watch Lightening stick his tongue out as he raced on the track...maybe I should have Carla make a pillow and pajamas with clouds and sheep...maybe that would get him to sleep through the night...We had quite the adventurous day and look forward to the fun activities this week holds.

Fun, Fun, Fun
We have had a very busy week with playdates and playing with our cousins. On Wednesday we went to Going Bonkers and met up with cousins and friends. Here is Jocelyn bouncing away...
Little man Marc...
Giggling Jesse man...
I love that Abby was Jocelyn's little cheerleader here...doesn't she look like she is encouraging Jocelyn??? "Come on Joc, you can do it! "
On Thursday's we always go get donuts from Shipley's before we head off to gymnastics. We have probably done this for about 6 months or so. Anyhow, my kiddies are obsessed with the strawberry frosted donuts with sprinkles...here is Jocelyn with what she thinks are all her donuts...
Jesse always gets so excited for donut Thursday...
Later on that day the twins were running around in some of my shoes...they do this pretty often but it never occurs to me to take pictures of it...so here are a few shots of them strutting in my shoes...
Looking good girl...
Jesse has been able to pull pretty funny faces for a while now, I think I posted about that a while back. Anyhow, this is Jocelyn's new face...cute huh?
Today we had some cousins and our friends over to do some Thanksgiving crafts and to play. We started off by making turkey apples. The kiddies weren't too thrilled with this activity, but Jocelyn LOVED it. She really went to town and put lots of feathers on her turkey. Here is Jocelyn and Jesse in the process of creating their edible turkeys...Marc put a few feathers on his turkey then it was time to enjoy...
Jocelyn really worked hard and seemed to enjoy this activity a lot...
Okay, so i got these little turkey costumes for the twins to wear. I had wanted to send out a Thanksgiving postcard but for one reason or another I can't get the twins to put on the turkey costumes, they claim that they are scary. Anyhow, so I dressed up my friends little girl to show them that the costumes aren't scary, but they didn't buy it...so I have two turkey costumes hanging in the closet hoping they will change their minds and let me at least get a picture of them in the costumes. Here is Abby to model the turkey costume...isn't she just adorable???
After making our turkey apples we baked some cookies and then we started painting time. They loved being creative with paint and brushes. It has been a very busy, but very fun week. We sure love to play!

A New Park
On Sunday when we were driving to church Jesse started crying because he didn't want to go to church, he wanted to go to Chuck-E-Cheese...I explained to him that we were going to go on Monday with his friend Marc. Just after he dried up his tears from that incident we passed this park and then the sobbing began again. "Don't wana go church, Jesse, sister play at park." Needless to say we kept on driving but I promised we would come back to check it out this week....so we did. The park was okay...not my favorite...but they seemed to have a pretty good time anyhow...

Playing Hoops
On Saturday we had another day of fantastic weather and we got out the twins basketball hoop. They loved playing a little bit of one-on-one and putting the ball through the hoop. Jocelyn picked out her own outfit...so yes, she is wearing a Cinderella dress up outfit...
The little princess taking a shot...
Jesse man going for a dunk...
Running with the ball...I haven't taught them about dribbling yet...so I guess technically she is traveling with the ball...
Jocelyn trying to block Jesse's shot...
Wow, what a great day of hoops!
Then on Saturday night while the twins played with grandma and grandpa I went to the Mavericks basketball game with Kodie. We had a great time and loved the great seats from his law firm. The Mavs pulled out a great win and it was so much fun to cheer them on...Go Mavs...we'll be taking the twins in a few weeks...so more Mavs pictures will be forthcoming...

Beautiful day at the Zoo
We are still soaking up the sun with the incredible weather. Though I am not sure what the temp was while we were at the zoo, we were warm walking around in our shorts and t-shirts. Jesse and Jocelyn were excited because we invited their cousin Addison to come with us to the zoo. They all got along great and we really had a perfect day at the zoo. Here is Jesse riding on an elephant...
The elephant didn't move very fast...or at all for that matter so we decided to let them ride on the carousel instead. Jocelyn chose to ride on "stripes" the zebra...Jesse was excited to ride on "monkey George" or the gorilla...Jesse thinks that every monkey is Curious George...clearly he loved the ride...
We got to watch the baby penguins eat their morning snack. We were amazed at how many fish they would eat and so quickly. They were glued to the glass watching for quite a while...
Addi was the only one who was brave enough to give the gorilla a high five...too bad the glass wasn't cleaner...
The three little cousins playing with the crocodile, they kept putting leaves and sticks in his mouth....Apparently the monkey was thirsty...what a sweet boy to share his drink...
At the end of our day we let the kiddies put on their swimsuits and splash around in the waterfall part. No, I am not a bad mommy, it was in the 80's and the kiddies were not cold at all...swimsuits in November....who would have thought???
Enjoying splashing and the sunshine in his swim trunks...
Jocelyn, Jesse, and Addison playing follow the leader...
We hope the sunshine and warm weather sticks around for a couple weeks, we are loving soaking up the sun!!!

Playing at the Creek
The weather has been awesome outside lately! Today we were loving the sunshine and sporting shorts as we went to play down at the bridge. The twins love to pick flowers and throw them over the bridge into the water, but today they got creative and once they couldn't find anymore flowers they started collecting sticks to throw into the water. Jesse was skipping on our way down to the creek. If you look you can see that both his feet are off the ground...
Jocelyn picking a flower to throw off the bridge...
Hey brother, look at this flower...do you like it???I think I am going to have my hands full with this one...
It is so fun that Jesse and Jocelyn love to play at the creek behind our house, we used to play in it as children all the time. The twins haven't played in the water yet, but I am sure the time will come when we will start catching minnows and tadpoles...in the meantime, they sure enjoy exploring all that there is to see on the banks of the creek...
Throwing objects into the water from the bridge is something the twins have enjoyed for quite a while...
Peek-a-boo...
My little man running off the bridge to gather up more sticks...
Did I mention how much we are loving this weather in the high 70's, we sure hope it lasts all of November...I think Jocelyn is thinking about getting into the water...she is standing pretty close to the edge of the creek...
Dear Creek, we love spending our days with you behind the back fence, please don't change and don't let any snakes come to our safe place...we love to play here and explore...

Loads of Fun
On Friday night Don and Carla came into town. We had some quick dinner and then headed out the door to the ward trunk or treat. It was an all out battle to get Jesse to put on his pirate costume...he was less than thrilled to be wearing it. He told me, "Mom, don't wana go take pictures." Hmm I guess he is smarter than I thought. Anyhow, we went to the church and after saying "trick or treat" at the 2nd car they pretty much had it down and were off...they liked to go to mom and dad's car a lot...grandma just kept handing out candy to them...
We won the award at the ward party for "Best dressed family"...we got a pretty cute little gift bucket with some fun prizes...my little family of pirates...Jocelyn all excited to go to the next trunk...
Carla and Don with Jesse...
Me with my kiddies, my friend Emma with her little guy, and Sarah...Holding their hands walking from car to car...notice the Thomas and Princess Halloween buckets...
Jocelyn with all of her loot from the Trunk or Treat...
Carla brought Jocelyn this awesome princess castle that Jocelyn adores. She has played with it constantly and doesn't like others to touch it...it sings and rotates...it is really pretty cool...
They brought Jesse a little people fun park...these cool cars shoot around the loop and out of the clowns mouth...
On Saturday we went to Chuck-E-Cheese for a little while. The girls dressed up and got 20 free tokens each...so we used them for all the kiddies and we had a great time playing for an hour or so. Here is Carla helping Jocelyn with a game...
Don and Carla helping Jesse with the fish game...
My little man playing skeeball...rules...what rules???
Hmm is there a different way this game is played??? Jocelyn loves to dress up and this is one of her dress up outfits...
On Saturday night we went trick or treating around the neighborhood here is Jocelyn in action...
Jesse, cousin Zach and Madison, and sister Jocelyn waiting for the door to open...
Carla pulled Madison and Jocelyn in the wagon when their buckets got too heavy to hold...Jesse ditched his pirate hat about halfway through our adventures...but he still had a tight hold on his candy bucket...
Jesse loved "jumping" with Carla...
When we got home last night all the kiddies wanted to take their costumes off, eat a bit of candy, and play with toys...it was a great night of trick or treating, but they only lasted about 45 minutes till they started asking for their blankets...(which meant they were tired)...Carla played with Jesse while putting his pajamas on him...
We had a great weekend of Halloween festivities! I was a bit under the weather but having Don and Carla here helped out a lot because they were able to entertain the kiddies. Wow November already!!

Pumpkin Painting
Yesterday we went over to our friend's house and we painted pumpkins with them. We didn't want to carve pumpkins because I didn't want to deal with the mess, and what two year old needs to be that close to a knife? So our three two year olds were given bibs, pumpkins, loads of paint and several paint brushes and they were transformed into artists. They loved painting the pumpkins and were actually pretty clean during the process. Thanks Auntie Tessie for letting us come paint at your house!
Oh man, this is pretty great...can we paint all the time???...notice paint on the pumpkin, not on the boy...
Marc held his paintbrush so professionally...look at that concentration...
Hmm starting to get a bit messy...glad we had bibs on...
Mom, you didn't give me enough pink paint...don't worry, I'll just help myself...
Thanks for letting us come over and paint! We always have a great time playing with y'all! Posted by Ang at 9:15 AM 5 comments

Halloween Festivities
For Halloween I wanted to throw a little party for some of the twins friends from church. We had a little gathering at our house this morning for a couple hours and enjoyed decorating sugar cookies, coloring a jack-o-lantern, playing in the bounce house, eating snacks, and making ghost lollipops. Jesse didn't want to wear his costume to the party, so I let him wear his Halloween t-shirt...but here are some pictures of the twins in their Halloween costumes. I was pretty proud of myself for making Jocelyn's skirt...my little pirates...
Sweet Jocelyn girl
Happy Jesse boy
Taking time to smell the flowers...
Pretty good looking pirate...
These photos are from the party this morning...be warned, there are a lot of pictures...Rans playing...
Sophia the kitty-cat...
Ewan was batman and his mommy is helping him decorate his cookie...
The Hixson fam...Addison caught in the act of licking the knife...
Jocelyn taking a big bite...notice the amounts of purple sugar on her plate...
A snapshot of Jesse, Zach, Jocelyn and me...Me and my sweet girl...
A group shot during one of the activities...
Jesse being cute...Me and Addi...
How many lollipops does one little girl need???
Jesse loved scooping out his own amounts of food with the shovels in the candy/popcorn jars...here he took the shovel right to his mouth...notice Jocelyn shoveling out her own Reeces...Jesse enjoying the bounce house...
Madison in the bounce house...And of course, a photo of me in my pirate costume...on Halloween I will make sure Jesse is in his costume and we'll get a family photo...a family of pirates...
Today was a lot of fun for me and for the kiddies. Thanks to everyone who came and made it a great success.

BYU Football Game
On Saturday was the BYU vs TCU football game. John and his children came down from Park City to come to the game, so of course I had to outfit them in BYU attire. Here is a picture of our crew before we headed out to the game...Here is a shot of Jocelyn and me overlooking the field before the game started...she loved standing up and dancing to all of the music the band played...
A little before halftime the alumni cheerleaders all got together and we snapped a few photos before going down on the football field to do our halftime fight song. It was so fun to see so many of the girls that I cheered with. L to R Jane, Joc, Me, Suzette, Jocelyn, Sara, Brooke, Tiff & Courtney...Reliving our glory days on the football field during halftime...
A group shot...Cosmo, me and Jocelyn...she wasn't too excited about seeing him up close, though she thought he was pretty cool when he was a safe distance away...
Christian was awesome and stunted with me on the football field. It was so fun to get back up in the air...poor guy was probably exhausted after we did a few stunts, but I loved it. I was the first girl that Christian ever stunted with...
I then did a toss hands and had Jocelyn passed up to me...she is crying in this picture not because she is scared to be in the air, but because she didn't want the cheerleader that passed her up to me to hold her...silly girl...her first time up in the air...
One of my favorite people Brandon Harding was at the game and he came down to see me...Brando made my day...Four of my favorite girls from cheer....Mandy, Brooke, Sara & Me...Jocelyn was traumatized by me having my little brothers girlfriend hold her while we did the fight song, once I took her back, she wouldn't let go...
The football field looked great even if the Cougars playing was less than optimal...

Back to BYU
On Thursday afternoon Jocelyn and I flew to Utah for BYU's homecoming and to see our family that lives in Utah. Wow, traveling with one child is so easy...piece of cake...though I miss Jesse, who is at home with Grandma and Grandpa, just being able to spend one-on-one time with Jocelyn has been really great. She asks about him a lot which is pretty cute. On Friday morning we met together with some of the BYU Cheer Alumni to relearn the fight song that we'll do at half time at the BYU vs TCU football game. While we learned the fight song, I decided to be brave and see if I could still pull any stunts...though my form was horrible...it was fun to stunt again. Jocelyn brought her "Princess bag" with her and she entertained herself while I was busy doing my thing...
This is an old friend Dave. He was in a ward at BYU with me, Michelle, and Colette...fun times. His wife Tiff was also a cheerleader.
Jocelyn and I had a fun time playing in the foam pit...
I LOVE this photo...the color of the fall leaves, the mountains in the background...BYU was such a pretty place to go to school...
On Friday afternoon we headed up towards Park City for Logan and Carson's birthday party at the indoor swimming pool. Jocelyn went to Fallon right away...
Me and my baby girl swimming...John launching Carson into the air...
We capped off the day by visiting the Malt Shoppe with Uncle Brian...oh the amounts of ice cream I used to eat here...

Megan's Softball Game
Last night we went to Megan's softball game and had a great time. It was a bit chilly but the kiddies had a great time walking along the fence, playing with their cousins and enjoying numerous treats from my diaper bag. Megan played catcher most of the game and outfield for an inning. It was pretty funny to see her in the catcher gear because she is so little...hence her nickname "little bit". Here is Megan catching during the game...
Her catcher's helmet is so big she can hardly see...
My brother Jason took this picture of us...Jesse loved playing with Uncle Jason....
And Jocelyn is best buds with Brady. The whole way home all I heard was I want Megan, I want Hailee, I want Brady, I want Addison...they love playing with their cousins!!!

The Pumpkin Patch
This morning we headed out to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch on a whim. Since it has been so rainy here the past few weeks, it was pretty muddy but we still managed to have a pretty good time. We might go back again next week so we can try and get a family picture but here are a few pictures to show you how much fun we had today. When we first got there Jesse and Jocelyn decided to put a few pumpkins in our wagon...they worked very hard...
Then we unloaded the pumpkins and Jesse decided to take sister for a ride...she was kinda heavy and he needed a little bit of help...
Here is Jocelyn posing as a cowboy ghost...
And my little princess was beyond thrilled to see Snow White at the pumpkin patch...she kept hugging her and giving her kisses...
Then we needed Jesse do do a bit more work so he fired up the mini-tractor and got right to work clearing the field for some pumpkins...
Jesse and Jocelyn were both a bit tired since it was borderline nap time...but he managed to give me a smile here...
Oh, and then poor, sweet, Jocelyn got stung by a bee...yep this happened to her here last year as well...
After a little coaxing, a few fruit snacks, a bag of crackers, and a promise of a "princess" later she was content again...
Jesse found a mound of hay and enjoyed playing in it...
Then they played with the door on the pumpkin house for a little bit...till Jocelyn's finger was really swollen and we needed to leave...Jesse really wanted to take this pumpkin home, but he couldn't quite lift it...though he tried really hard...
Have I mentioned that we LOVE this time of year?!?
